Why you are a part of HERO: I love the kids. I love the cause. I LOVE HERO!!! Honestly, HERO was the first organization that caught my eye at orientation, and I knew I wanted to become a part of it. Now, three years later, I can say that HERO has helped me grow into the person I have become at UGA. I couldn’t imagine my college experience without UGA HERO!
Goals for the semester: Let’s make this the year of WOW. I want to constantly reemphasize the impact our fundraising and actions have on each one of our kids. Also, raising awareness about our cause on campus as well as our community is crucial! There will be more skits, more motivation, and more ways to get pumped about HERO! I’m ready to get Wild On Wednesdays (Acronym for WOW). If it’s not WOW, it’s not worth doing! |
