Why HERO: I chose HERO because I love kids and I enjoy event planning and PR. I also felt at the time that the hero community could use a burst of color, and needed someone to get the multicultural community at UGA more involved. Considering that our HERO kids are mostly African-American I really feel strongly about making this change, and I hope that when I’m done it will be carried on in HERO!!

Goals: Get more involvement from NPHC/MGC and start some annual events that could be carried on for years to come.
