She has shown relentless perseverance and determination, like you will rarely see in a person her age. She never accepts no for an answer – especially if her abilities are questioned! Guessed it yet? You won’t. Whitney has one arm and not only manages, but succeeds in a world made for two arms. Amazing? Yes, just like she is.

He is 13 years old and a precious soul. He is insightful beyond his years and offers advice to his peers, and sometimes those older than him! He is an honest confidant who enjoys writing in his journal and drawing pictures. Although quite the artist and the journalist, Michael’s most touching quality is his manners.
