Why I am a HERO: As cheesy as it sounds, I absolutely fell in love with the organization! I knew I had to get more involved after driving two little boys to a fall event. The little boys were so excited to spend the day with us and did not want the day to end. I was able to see the impact we made on these children. Our organization is special because we are the only organization that helps these kids. Another reason I joined HERO was for the amazing people involved. Everyone is so motivated and passionate about the cause, and it definitely becomes contagious. HERO has changed my life and I hope it does the same for you!
Goals for this semester:I want to see our events go to a whole new level! I want our events to be bigger, better, inspiring, and bring awareness to all aspects of UGA. I want our events to capture the passion of our members because they were moved by our cause and/or our awesome kids. I see huge potential in our events this year and have big hopes and dreams for them to be amazing! |
