Why Ally’s a HERO: I was looking for a good organization to get involved with here at UGA. One of my sorority sisters told me about HEROs. After one meeting, I was hooked on HEROs!
Ally’s “WOW!” moment: Taking our HERO kids to the Atlanta Zoo this spring was my WOW moment. Seeing how excited the kids were really made me feel like I was doing something special for them.
The ideal HERO is… someone whose main goal is to make a difference. Being apart of HEROs is all about changing the lives of our kids. We want to do everything we can for them. Like we always say, “If it’s not WOW, it’s not worth doing”.
Ally’s advice for new HEROs: Be yourself! Everyone in HEROs is loud, crazy, and amazing!
